Personally, I'd buy American rods, Crower in particular. What you bought will hopefully be better than the castings but, the Crowers will last and last. I've seen those come apart but not the Crowers. I just bought a set from Paul Spotts for $595 on sale. That is a deal! Good luck anyway with your motor. Steve
