Perhaps, but certainly not distinctive as a GTO. Mitsubishi and many others are now sporting a similar split grill.

Bill Lovejoy GM Special Projects Manager Dec 2002 : " The GTO will represent what every Pontiac can and will be in the future". Why didn't he just say it will look like everything else they make but with more hp.
