I found it much much easier to assemble the entire nose without the front bumper off the car but leave the bolts loose. Then with a friend you can lift and bolt the 2 "horns" to the subframe. One you have it in place you can systematically adjust and tighten.
It takes hours to get it close as there are about a zillion pieces.
