I used an "E-Z" wire kit for my 1931 Chevy. The guys at Doc`s Rod Shop made a very good point. With a correct color-coded wiring kit, black, blue, and brown all look the same when you`re broke down on the side of the road at night, with a Bic lighter to see with. Not to mention that your wiring diagram is back home in the shop.
The E-Z harness has every wire labled every few inches, so no matter where you access it, it will say what it is, like "left rear tail" etc. etc. It came with fuse block & fuses, all wires, terminals & instructions.
I wouldn`t use anything else.
