Well, it just goes to show that if you open your mouth often enough your foot will find its way into it.
Sales literature shows L-75 available w/mt on GP J and GP SJ. 3 speed standard with 4 speed available.
Assembly manual shows a WA engine code for the MT/455/325 engine. Assembly manual shows it available also in GTO but not with RA option. Date on page is Feb, '70. My literature was missing the GTO engine available pages so can't go there. On the LeMans, LeMans Sport and T'37 it only shows AT for 455/325 (L-75) engine. BTW, where did you find the WJ engine code? Tried to look at Wallace Racing tonight but couldn't log on. Assembly manual does not show LS5 available on 233, 235 and 237 series also but we know that happened.
Compression ratios are all still high in assembly manual and there were about 8-10 V-8's available. Even a 400 Super Duty. The HO shows up as a Holley Carb. Well we all know that did not happen. Thx GM.
