Allpontiac.com looked at the other brands of motors out there that have caps registered in the block. This was done because dowel pins are old technology. High speed film as shown caps can dance around in a block. You can even break a dowel in a cap and not know it until it is too late. We have added this at no extra charge to the block price. Up grading our product is an on going process. We plan to pour alum. blocks in the fall if there is a demand. We need to have 15 deposits to make it worth our time to do this. We have a list of people that we will start to call on soon that want an aluminum product. You can trust that we will put the same quality in that product as we are doing in the IA II block. We hope to have one soon.

Also, we added threaded freeze plug holes in the IA II at no additional cost. This is a way to bring the outer walls of the block more strength by pushing 360 degrees around each hole. This pressure will add strength to the outer wall. It was not to have a screw in plug to look cool. We copied a Ferd design. I wonder were we got that idea.
