Geoff, Inserting lash into the equation is the same as changing rocker ratios. Get what you want, with the rockers you want to use, ground into the cam(considering lash). I agree, it does make it harder to compare numbers. There was a reason the strongest traditional V-8's, 396/375, 427/435, 454/450, all used solids. -Jim
