2 points to consider:
1. A 200R4 has a very low first gear. With your 4:11 gears, 1st gear would be totally useless. 2. You said that you want to eventually get into the 12's. When I was looking into them last year I was told that there was no 200R4 that could repeatedly take 500 ft lbs of torque, no matter what parts were put in it. That is roughly where you will be. I was told that 500 ft lbs was the magic number and that if I got the car to hook really well, it would break, soon.
If it is strictly a street car, yes, the OD would be nice. If it serves double duty as a race car, spend the big money on a GearVendors bolt-on OD. The GearVendors unit is as bullet proof as the turbo 400.
