Hello, within the next week I'm going to tackle the job of converting my standard roof 78 T/A to a GM Fisher factory T-Top roof. I'm not a licensed body man, but am pretty mechanically inclined on this large of a project. My plan is to get the roof in place and aligned, then finished welded on the inside structure. I have a friend who does show quality restos that will do the outside welding and finishing. My question is, aside from mounting and tack welding temporary side braces and cross braces to keep square of the body when the roof is cut, is there any other concerns I may be looking at? Has any body here done one of these conversions, or can let me contact someone who has? One final thing and that is I will have a great set of Hurst t-tops available when I start. thanks,
Brian
