quote:
Apparantley in your book a Ford F-250 Pickup has the same value that a 1970 GTO would have. Given that you're so much more of a "car guy" than the rest of us, you're right: I should be driving that GTO everyday driving it's value down and incurring more wear and tear on it instead keeping it covered in a garage and saving my $ to get it restored. Thank you for that brilliant insight. BTW: The Mazda is a daily driver and an import is it not? By your choice? Regardless of who in your family drives it? My BMW is a daily driver and an import is it not? By my choice? Regardless of who drives it?..... Hypocrite.

I DRIVE an import as my daily driver, and so does my wife......... I've never denied or even brought it up. How am I a hypocrite?

You brought up the F-250, which , btw, runs great and will continue to be driven, since it serves my purposes as a pickup fine. How did you deduce that I put it in the same class as the GTO when YOU brought the subject up? I am not a Ford F-250 fanatic, yet, I still keep mine in good operating condition, since I need a beater truck. Hypocrite? Do you even know what that word means?

Are even you getting tired of the Monaro doesn't look like a GTO argument and are looking for other ones?
