Forgot that there are only rebuilt or nos waterpumps (not sure if they are cast or stamped impellers) available for the early 8 bolt pumps like yours (64-68). On my sig GTO below, I fitted a 69 timing cover to allow using the 11 bolt pump.
The comment re Forum preference for the cast impeller applies to the later 11 bolt pump.
Try Autozone and inspect the available cores or have yours rebuilt, as an alternative.
