69GP428,
First of all, great car you have there!!! Secondly, the hot rod/cruise scene is very good at times. Summertime here is very hot and the shows/cruises scene slows down a bit. Otherwise, we have a monthly cruise in Plant City, Friday and Saturday night cruises in Old Town Kissimmee (fantastic place in my opinion for cruises), Ronnie Setser has numerous cruises and shows through the bay area, a swap meet in Webster, and the grand daddy of them all, Turkey Rod Run at Thanksgiving. There's also a comparable Daytona show in March I believe. There's also a place called BiffBurger in St. Pete which has shows and cruises. We also have some decent drag strips around town. Visit this site for additional car scene stuff in central Florida:

On top of it all, I love living here! We have beautiful beaches, warm weather, and your can wear shorts and t-shirts in January!

Thanks for the info. I will check it out. I expect to be there in October, just in time for the temp to cool off a bit. I loved your closing arguments except you left out just one thing. The ladies wear shorts and [skimpy]
t-shirts year round too.
