I also think it's not a 396, but just to make sure im going to check hopefully this week end, or next. I'll look at the heads tomorrow and tell you guys to see if they're worth it. As for the rear gear...I don't know, its all stock so i think that's stock also. If you guys have any clue as to the ratio let me know. Many told me to save for a 400, but im low on funds and want to keep the original engine. My goals are to have a daily driver that can hold it's own against some modern domestics. Im not looking for a 500 hp monster. Maybe along the lines of 320-350 rwhp if possible. Kind of like PMDRACER's LeMans would be good in my book. My friend's stock 2bbl 350 77 Camaro ran 17.9 and 18.2 on a 1/4 so PMD's is monster compared to my friends. I was REALLY amazed he ran so...slow. LOL..I felt kind of bad
. I'll try and get a similar setup like PMD's. Are the remanufactured Q-Jets from Summit any good? I've been giving them some thought. How about the 2802 cam from summit compared to HO racing's cam?
