It looks like you have a well thought-out engine combo. Your cam choices are both fairly good ones, but with 10:1 compression I would lean towards using a slightly bigger cam.

I would use the Crower 'Beast' 60916 cam (221/229,.455/.470") to help keep this high-compression engine from detonating on premium pump gas. It will work nicely with the rest of your combo and won't be too hard on fuel. I would also recommend a Q-jet carb for the best fuel economy.
