George - KRE doesn't have a 400-cfm head, do they? I'm sure their billets are somewhere in that neighborhood, but I don't think you want to know the price on their custom billets.
Ken - the difference between then and now is, NOW there is already a proven head available flowing the same figures that DCI claims. When Larry introduced the S.C. there wasn't another out to compare it to...so racers bought them, in a sense "sight unseen". Time has passed since and the S.C. head has proven its worth. DCI is going to have an uphill battle selling this head UNLESS they can first prove its worth, because EVERY potential buyer is going to compare it to the S.C. head. This is why it would behoove DCI to donate a set of these heads for R&D to a racer in exchange for promotional interests.
