turbo 350 are not as week as people like to believe. My close friend runs a STOCK th350 in his 3600# trans am and has been running low 11's and high 10's for the past few years. He has never blown it up and the car 60fts in the low 1.5's. He has blown the motor once and even the rear end (ford 9 inch, mini spool broke)and bent an axle, but not the tranny!
