thanks guys, the freeze plug is a good idea. I thought about keeping the oil tube just for looks to show off the "vintage engine", but I will probably just ditch it for simplicity. but now I will have to either get some new valvecovers or drill out the cast aluminum m/t valve covers that came on it.
