ran the 446CI motor on the dyno with 65CC KREs.They replaced 260ish 63 SD heads,same cam,same intake and same carbs but diff dyno.The only good thing about the replacement was the need for 4 degree less total lead.My KREs had a light street port and are in the 280 range.The iron heads made 478HP at 6100 and the KREs made 463HP at 5800.We added 1 point of CR to make up for the heat loss.I dont see the gains with the 65CCs that are being touted with the larger chambers.Maybe the 980 heads are much better than the later 6x type heads and the KREs dont show as much gain.FYI,Tom
