Scott, the Torque Tech 2-1/2" system with Ram Air exhaust manifolds that was installed in a '70 GTO three or four years ago had no problems. Same with the two recent 3" systems with headers in '70 GTOs.
You are not correct in my case David. I have a set of tailpipes and a X-pipe kit hanging on the wall as proof, as well as a constant reminder that you get what you pay for. As Ccass stated, they revamped them. Did he contact anyone for an exchange or refund? Not me. As RicksGTO stated he had to pay extra for his install plus the extra waiting time, driving/towing and other BS.
But, the 3" exhaust tips are a must as they look great.
