Matt D I had body dipped
and to get the seams clean use a little water and a propane torch and spray a lil water into the seam then hit it with the torch until it boils out you will see it working this will get the caustic out
However that said it is a major pain in the a##
Blasting is much easier to work with when complete
But i think dipping takes more off
