I had a little "bubbling" above my wheel well on my '67 convertable GTO and by the time I got to good metal, I had to replace most everything below the body line. I got a repro from Ames and just cut out what I needed and welded it in. The inner wheel well was bad too, but no one made one for a convertable, so I got one for a hard top and just used the outside and welded that in too. It was a big job, but that was the only way I could see to do. It turned out great. I have photos but am not smart enough to put them up so that you can see them...
