As best I could find, rear seat belts were not an option. I bought a 65 GTO convertible last year and did a lot of research to upgrade the seat belt system. I installed a modern retractable 3 point system for the fronts and standard belts in the back seat.
I found that the metal panel holding the back seat back panel already had openings formed in the metal frame that mysteriously match openings for the best placement for seat belts. So they were at least thinking about rear belts back then.
I bought standard rear belt sets from Andover Restraints (andoauto.com). Just make sure you order the 60" length, not the 74".If you are a purist, the latches don't match original.
You need to drill 4 holes in the floorpan for the attachment bolts. I also bought 4 of Andover's thick metal rectangular reinforcement plates. The reinforcement plates look like they provide a much better and safer connection than the standard front seat single welded nut.
Once you take out all the back seat stuff, installation is not really difficult.
