Don't forget your main grounding straps. You can fry a lot of electricals when the engine/frame/body grounds are worn out, dirty, or gone. Most people think the bolts that hold everything together are enough, but those grounding straps and wires are there for a reason. Without them, the flow of juice is changed and all that hot amperage ends up in other parts of your starting/charging system. Sometimes it can mean frying starters, alternators, distributors, and other stuff.
