My F body did the same thing when I bought it. If the key won't unlock it and the knob is useless (like mine was), the hanger may have come loose from the door latch itself. I just removed the inner door lining (a real pain with the door closed), and with a flashlight and a screwdriver, I just bent the hanger back into place through a small hole in the door and havn't had a problem since.
