I liked it a lot, it shifted well with a $300 Long shifter. I always wished it had 3.00 or 2.80 gears when I was on the freeway. I now have it tucked safely in my '69 Firebird 400 project.
I have the same trans in my 64 GTO with Long Shifter and 2.75 Ford rear and am very happy now
that I have new carpet and can barely hear the trans. Noise was the ONLY complaint! Tom V.
