I have a set of the Summits coming and funny you mentioned the hi temp paint. I had considered that myself.
I read the instructions on the aerosol type Dupli-Color paint, 1500 degrees. If you read the small print, that level of heat resistance is only true if you cure the paint at like 300 degrees for so many hours.
We have an industrial oven here at work and you probably know what I'm thinking.
