Thanks for the offer Bob....but i think i have found the problem. I checked the battery again and it was dry. That lead me to the voltage regulator. The contacts were stuck and it fried the water out of the battery. Also shorted out the plates. I'm headed over to NAPA to get a new one tonight and replace the battery.
