I went with 235/70-15 all the way around on my 68. If I were to do it again, I would go down to 225/70-15 on the front, since the 235s rub. You can go bigger on the back, as long as you don't go deeper than a 4-1/2" backset. I definitely like the 15s over the 14s. I think they handle better and look better.
For these older cars, anything larger than 15s or a profile shorter than a 60 series tire makes them look like a resto-mod rather than a restored car.
