no idea on rpms it has 2.73 or so gears so not terribly high. Thing is, about a year ago I could cruise at 100 forever without noticing any temp change. Now, 80+ for half an hour and the engine is pinging. Radiator clogged, water passages in the block clogged, cavitating near the waterpump? I"m not positive which it is, I guess the best bet would be to tear it apart and have a look, but I was hoping not to have to do that...
