Plastic media blasting won't take care of any rust either, It will just remove the paint. for removable parts, fenders,hoods,deck lids inner fenders, bumper braces, etc. I like to have them chemically dipped. It gets everything including rust and makes the metal look brand new, You can then clean it etch it epoxy prime it and do your body work.
