To reiterate the results of the famous "filter study" of a few years ago, The Fram garden variety filters were poor, the AC-Delcos were good, lots of media area, and good construction materials. The WIX, (NAPA) gold, (same filter) were good also.
I've never bought a Fram filter since. Theire high perf line may be a lot better, but the filter study did not examine them.
