I guess I'll have to disagree on this one! I have a '71 GT37 w/455block with round port heads. The ONLY way I can get the drivers side 2" hooker header on- is to put it on first, then tilt and twist the engine so the collector goes into the transmission tunnel first, then twist and lower the engine 'til it's almost in. Then hold up the pass header, while lowering in the rest of the way. Then spend 2/3 hrs trying to get those bolts started. I have done it this way for at least 7 years, and it's the only way it works for me. Bill
