i have to park my car outside and have notice this too. I regularly have to clean it. What i did on mine that has seemed to work well, i took the distributor apart cleaned the corroded areas and masked them and painted them with zinc spray paint. The paint hasnt effected the performance that i know of. It has stopped the corrossion. Now if i could only find a way to keep the distributor cap from corroding. I have to clean the cap about every few weeks.
