before it blew up, my LT1 had ported stock heads, hyd. roller cam (230/236 duration), long tube headers, 36# injectors, electric water pump, SPEC clutch and some other bolt-ons...probably about ~$4000~ worth of mods in total, not counting traction stuff, gears and rear end cover. from what i've been able to gather it was probably one of the 10 quickest/fastest NA, stock bottom end 6-speed cars in the country.
i'm not claiming that LT1's are faster than LS1's, i just love to needle the LS1 crowd.
it's well known that an otherwise stock LS1 will run well over 110 with a relatively small dosage of laughing gas.
