OK, Here I am. A litle pissed in fact. I'm getting more than a little goddamn sick of every single time one of you jackasses has a problem with somebody, you post it on a public forum.
My Comment:
I WAS A LITTLE PISSED FIRST, JACKASS, WHEN YOUR ***** ARRIVED AT MY DOOR WITH THE BOX SPLIT OPEN!
If you are in the business of selling parts you
should take some of your profits and buy a bunch
of shipping tape.
Perhaps you should have sent me an e-mail first letting me know about the problem? So now, instead of working whatever your problem was out to your satisfaction, I am now rather inclined to tell you to shove it up your ass sideways(or is that just a little too extreme?)
My Comment:
Apparently, I am not the first one on the board to
be dissatisfied with the quality of your products or service. Maybe they, too, were really disappointed with what they got? The extreme part was the box split open like a melon without any shipping tape on the bottom of the box. Even the UPS guy (He delivers a LOT of parts to me) said it was a PI$$ poor packaging job and the box was old and rotten from moisture. Your "Shove it up your A$$ sidewise" is typical of vendors who try and screw people and get caught at it.
For your information, those headers were new, inso much as they have never been used(Hence the term "NEW"). The only motor they were ever bolted up to was a display motor on a engine stand with 2 bolts per side. There were two spots of flash rust surface discoloration, probably from sitting in a damp place for an extended period of time,
My Comment:
Confirms what I said above about the crummy box
and rust all over collectors and headers. A quick
question. Do you think a rusted and pitted gun
would be sold in a gun store as brand new because
it wasn't ever fired. Not likely.
but nothing a dry towel wipe and a quick touchup wouldn't fix in about a second. I don't know what the hell you are talking about with the collectors at all.
My Comment:
If you would like I can post pictures on the forum
and let everyone see what a paper towel will or will not take off in the way of rust.
Honestly, Mr. Vaught, I really never would have thought you would handle a complaint such as this the way you have, thought you would have had a little more consideration.
My comment:
I probably would have handled it differently, if
the "First impression" of the box split open like
a melon and the parts missing, along with the lack
of tape had not ruined my day.
By the way, I was considering starting a topic based on one of yours- "I dropped a big crap this morning, Can anyone guess the color?".
My comments:
You are probably an expert in that subject as it
appears you have been buying and selling "Crap"
for some time. You dropped a LOAD on my doorstep.
So in closing, I would recommend that you contact UPS(DUH...) and file a claim.
My comment:
I talked to my UPS man (a friend) and he said that
UPS will not pay up on "stupidity" claims. You boxed the parts poorly, you are responsible. I agree.
I actually did you the service of insuring the package for your full cost amount of $300. Any more issues, please do someone the favor of at least discussing the situation with them first before you decide to involve the whole world.
My Comment:
Who are you trying to "*****" here? I ship parts
all over the country too. $300.00 worth of UPS
insurance cost you a meager amount. This is why we have Better Business Bureau's and The Business Bureau on the PY Board to identify people selling "Crap" and to warn other people of the seller.
I have a commercial bead blaster so I can, with
time, clean the rust off your headers. They are
not what I paid for in their current state. About
$150.00 would be what they would go for at most
swap meets as the people would recognize the extra effort required to use them. Tom V.
