Goatman, though there are difference between the chevy 350 and Pontiac 350 they are both, just like any engine an air pump. Given the proper components you can make any engine produce horsepower. True cubes rule, but I see no reason why a 350 Pontiac cannot make large horsepower, and if fact they have and can.
Take a 350 Pontiac. add 72cc Eheads, Single plane intake, 750dp, hydraulic roller. My guess is around 500hp.
I may try that with my 350 in my Firebird, just for the hell of it and report back here just to prove a point. [img]smile.gif[/img]
