While I've never tried it on a 2nd gen. T/A; looking at mine w/ the entire front-end off, I believe my 428 w/ Doug's 1 7/8 x 3 1/2 headers will slide in. I'll let y'all know very soon, as I'll try it. Soon as the cage is finished.
