The only place I know of the # being on the frame is on the drivers side by the #6 body mount...you'd have to lift the body to see it..
. According to the books I have they state the last 8 digits of the VIN were not used until 1968. Send your VIN to me and I'll decipher it for ya. I would be very wary about this car with missing tags and title...open the drivers door and on door ring near the door hinge should be another tag with VIN......larry
