petesake,

Don't take this the wrong way, but the way you have the body supported doesn't look good. Why would you use a 6x6 and only use a couple of inches of it? It looks like it is tipped sitting there. You really need to crib that blocking and get more of the 6x6 under the body before it comes tumbling down.

If you take the 6x6 and place underneath the rocker panel you will be better off. The blocking should be a cribbed, it will not take much of a bump to have your dreams or your life come to an end.

The car body should be supported under the firewall and in front of the rear wheels. Take a look at my site to see what I am talking about. Not that mine is anymore elaborate than yours, but you can see where I placed the posts. I had my body in the air like that for nearly 13 months, did the trunk, the center cross member and floor with it like that. Never worried about the thing rolling off the post or blocking.
