Leonard, hello from Dallas. We exchanged emails and photos once about a year ago. I purchased some 15 inch honeycombs on the internet and they were pretty dirty. I was going the full-restoration bit..but finally gave up and just ordered rally wheel paint and painted them and they look just fine. I purchased new trim rings and new caps. Other than spray paint, that is all I did and they look good to me. By the way, I put two coats of spray can automotive primer. I did not mess with any flex-agent. Elmer in Dallas.
