I've tried and failed. 4-tube headers were used, and success. BVravery would be to Re-Install the Long-Branch manifolds to see the penalty.
Too late since those cars& manifolds are sold.
Present 68GTO project came with new 4-tube headers. If I sold these excellent headers for the cost of manifolds, I'd go with new long-branch manifolds...
