I can relate, I have a 65 GTO Convertible (clone) and I had the wagon springs initially, but the rear was too high for me. I have stock springs which look like the rear is dragging so i tried the cheapest solution I could find. Went to autozone and got some rubber coil spriong stabilizers, cost about 9.00 bucks. just raised rear end at frame to unweight the springs and they slipped in between the coils.Thry raised the rear about 2 1/2 inches. I put some radiator hose clamps around the coils(eight total) to keep rubber blocks from sliding around. My car looks a lot better, about level now and seems a little stiffer in the rear. might be worth a try before you go drastic. Since i just spent 900 dollars on new heads I needed a cheap fix! Now to tackle more electrical bugs.....lol.
