The pipes exit out below the 1/4 panel so I think putting any thing on them would look bad. In the instructions it tell you to cut the intermediate pipe 2 1/4 inches and that is why it hangs down so far. I guess that's what I get for following directions.
If you go with this system cut to fit your car. I may go back and cut the tail pipe so it fits inside the 1/4 panel and then put a down pipe on it.
