I have them in my convertible. They work great. Hard to set emergency brake though. I replaced the ones that were in there with upgraded speakers. I also mounted my stereo in the glove box. I made a cut out on the top side of the back wall just big enough for the radio to slide through. Added a faceplate and mounted it to the top so I could still use the bottom of the glove box. I also built 6X9 speakers in a box and mounted it on the driveshaft hump between the rear seats. I have no problems hearing the radio w/top down. Quick glance and still looks stock.
