Anybody have problems getting the starter off a 389 in a 64 lemans, I know it seems strange but I can get the bolts out and it unhooked but I cant move it away from the bellhousing enough without it hitting the frame and I cant move it forward enough to drop down without it hitting the bellhousing? Do I have to jack up the engine and take it off the motor mounts or what?
