I started out with the performer intake and the Edelbrock performer 750 carb. The carb. ran fine until I got on it. It seemed the secondarys would not open til I got the RPM's up to 3500. Also, when they did open, it was a very smooth transition. Not what I am looking for in a muscle car. I swithced to the Q-Jet 750, and after some minor adjustments it works great. If I get on it the secondarys will open right off the line. You can hear it and you can feel it. Just my opinion, and my experience.
