Sorry! I meant to post this as a reply to All4Fun's topic, and I can't move it or delete it. I have a 79 T/A running a 406 with an Ultradyne 280/288 cam. The engine has "670" heads, HS 1.5 roller rockers, an Edelbrock Performer RPM, Edelbrock 750 carb, 1 5/8" Heddman headers, 2 1/2" exhaust through Flowmasters. The car has 2.42 gears (going to change to 3.42), and I can roast the tires. I can keep up with, if not beat, my friend's stock 2000 T/A. The car is pretty imperssive for having such high gears. I haven't checked the vacuum yet. My brakes aren't too bad, though I think my booster is going bad. Just thought you could use some real-world experience with this cam.
