Anytime a M/T console needs a better plastic base, an automatic parts console is usually sacrificed. Voila, extra auto top plate & lid. Problem is the typical pitting of the potmetal. A longtime vendor's honest accurate description of "little or minimal pitting" as compared to the typical garbage that is out there may not not match some folks expectations, so everyone needs to get on the right page.
Best to post an ad in GTO Parts Wanted for a 64-66 console lid & state what condition you need.
