The Cad will work with the TH400... It is a direct bolt-in in that sense. The Cad has engine mounts at the front of the block however, so that will require some fabrication. The oil pan is another area of concern as you need a rear sump, although the Eldorado middle sump pan may work. The stock exhaust manifolds may also work but big block Chevy headers will fit with the addition of adaptor flanges. Look up The Cad Company out of Florida. I fabricated an oil pan and frame mounts to put a 500 in my 68 ElCamino. Very, very good engine.
