Well, im stuck with my 400 but I think for what it has it runs pretty good. The 400 is in my 81T/A that weighs 3650 with me in it.
400, stock crank and stock lightened rods
trw pistons in backwards
16 small valve heads with ram air IV valves 2.11- 1.77 valves, heat risers filled with aluminum, ported but I don't have flow #'s
Edelbrock Rpm intake
Hydraulic comp cheater cam 256-264@ .050 .516lft
holley 750 vac. sec.
hedman 1 3/4 headers with 2.25 flowmaster exh.
stock turbo 350 trans with a 10inch transking 3800 flash converter
3:42 gears(so I can still cruise on the highway)
28x12.5 et streets in the rear
I drive my car on pump gas and Ive only had it at the track once. No adjustments were made or tuning and it ran consistent 12.30's @ 110mph with 1.85 60ft's. A friend and I just installed a set of slide a links to try and better my 60ft's. Shaker455 just built me a 840cfm mechanical secondary Holley(great guy!)to try out. Personally I would go with a bigger cam and 1 3/4 headers. I would imagine your car would pull et's more or less near mine. Would you consider trying out a performer rpm intake?
